9. Review and publish
Nothing you change in the editor reaches your store until you publish it. Before a campaign goes live, a short review checks it for you.
Drafts
A new campaign is a Draft. Drafts never appear in the store.
- Save draft stores your work without publishing. You can close the editor and continue later from the campaign list.
- Discard changes throws away everything since the last save.
- Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on a Mac) saves a draft, or opens the review for a published campaign.
If you try to leave the editor with unsaved changes, it asks Leave without saving? – choose Stay here or Leave without saving.
The review
Click Review and publish. The Review before publishing window lists what the campaign will do and what may be wrong (see the picture in the Quick start).

Next to each warning or error a Fix button takes you to the tab where you can fix it.

While the server checks run, the window shows Checking linked pages and images…. If anything is red, you see Fix the items marked in red to publish. You can still save a draft.
Publish
Click Publish. The campaign is saved, switched on and goes live right away (or at its start date). You stay in the editor; the status changes to Active.
Changing a published campaign
For a published campaign the main button is called Save changes. It opens the same review; the button in it is Save and update the store. Until you click it, your edits are not visible to shoppers.
Saving keeps the campaign's on/off state: a paused campaign stays paused, an active one stays active. Only the first publish of a draft switches a campaign on. To pause or resume a campaign, use the switch in the campaign list.
After you save changes, shoppers who had closed the campaign see it again (see When > Behaviour).
